A new BtoB event is being organised for the 6th Salon du Chocolat Brussels:

International Forum – Cocoa & Chocolate

on Friday 22nd February, 2019

The aim is to introduce an international event that is useful and necessary to everyone involved in the cocoa and chocolate industry and to position Brussels as the European Capital of Chocolate. The Forum will be set up at a central point in the Show and will accommodate one hundred members of the industry. Entry by invitation only.


11:00am: “Beyond Chocolate” for a sustainable cocoa industry

“Beyond Chocolate” is a partnership that aims to make Belgian chocolate even better and more sustainable. The charter was signed in Antwerp in early December 2018, at the instigation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Development Cooperation, Alexandre De Croo, by a large number of members of the Belgian chocolate and mass distribution sectors, civil society, investors in social projects and universities. Through this partnership, they are committed to fighting against child labour and deforestation and to providing local producers with an income that allows them to live decently.
