Overt three days, The Salon du Chocolat and its partners treated you with many workshops in order to train yourself with chocolate’s professionals!
Workshops by The Belgian Chocolate Makers
The Belgian Chocolate Makers ran fun and participative workshops during which a Master Chocolatier was offering a demonstration of the method of tempered chocolate on marble. He explained the origins of chocolate, why chocolate should be tempered and many others tips and tricks. You were able to learn how to make truffles, beggars and a personalized chocolate bar to take home!

Workshops on Madagascar Pavilion
The Madagascar Pavilion proposed chocolate workshops run by a team of passionate experts. From a pure origin cocoa, you were able to make 12 mini chocolat bars based on the famous recipe “Combava Madagascar chocolate”
La Cucina delle Zie
La Cucina delle Zie offered cake design workshops for children and adults throughout the Salon. Budding chefs could take part in cupcake and biscuit decoration workshops. Adults, meanwhile, were able to discover everything there is to know about sugar-paste and royal icing.
Demonstrations by Institut Roger Lambion
Throughout the event, you had the chance to see moulded and dipped pralines (and other chocolates and sweets) being made live at the stand hosted by the Institut Roger Lambion.
Beer & Chocolate Workshops
The famous brand Duvel presented beer & chocolate pairings every day at their Chocolate bar in partnership with Jitsk Chocolates.

Másalto Master Class
Másalto, the espresso specialists, offered coffee master classes – the perfect match for chocolate. Three times a day, coffee experts covered three different themes:
The special barista Master Class, the “home-style machine” Master Class and the “Latte Art” Master Class.
Ter Groene Poorte Brugge
The school Ter Groene Poorte in Bruges, present for the first time, offered every day a series of truffle making workshops.
